Jeff Sallet is a retired FBI Special Agent who rose to Associate Deputy Director, the Bureau's third-highest-ranking official, over a 30-year career. A trained forensic accountant, he pioneered the financial-investigation approach that helped dismantle a New York Mafia family and later led major foreign bribery and corruption investigations for the FBI. He is now a partner at Ernst & Young LLP, focusing on forensic services and investigations. 

Paul Cantarella grew up in a Bonanno crime family household and became a made member himself in 1996. After being arrested on federal RICO charges in 2002, he chose to cooperate with the FBI and entered witness protection.
