About this event

Presented by - Matthew F. Giacobbi, Executive Advisor for IBM X-Force, former FBI Special Agent

The private sector faces a perfect storm of technological acceleration and geopolitical tension.  The primary shift is the continued rise of Agentic AI Attacks, where autonomous AI agents can scout, exploit, and pivot through a network without the need for human intervention.

Ransomware continues to remain a dominant financial threat which has now been "professionalized" through ransom negotiation services.  Finally, the Quantum computing countdown has begun, raising questions on what the future holds, particularly as it relates to encryption.  Many companies are starting to consider post-quantum cryptography as they prioritize long-term data viability.

I will discuss all of these topics along with two real world case examples of how the Cyber threat can negatively impact you on a personal and professional level.  I will also provide some tips and tricks to help you navigate the evolving cyber landscape and help to keep you from falling prey to the numerous criminals who prowl in this space.
