Join other members of the FBIBCAAA on an eye-opening evening tour of the Norfolk County Correctional Center.

Built in 1992, this house of correction, located in Dedham, MA, houses, on average, approximately 260 inmates awaiting trial and 140 inmates who have been sentenced to serve time.

This tour provides an opportunity to learn about the day-to-day operations of the sheriff’s office, a day in the life of an inmate, and the rehabilitative programs available to inmates through  the sheriff’s office.  After touring the jail, participants can speak with carefully selected inmates who will share their personal stories of the poor choices and bad decisions that led to their incarceration.

Don’t miss this behind-the-scenes view of an example of the prison program in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Please see Event Rules. An email will be sent to membership that will include a security clearance form that will need to be filled out and sent in to Jim Ross, the Community Outreach Officer by July 1st.

If you are going to register for this tour (on July 17) when you fill out the security clearance form, on the top of the page it asks for "Specify the reason for request" please put down FBI Citizens Academy: July 17, 6:00 pm tour.
